What ORENIUS handles, why, who else sees it, and how to have it removed.
Who we are
ORENIUS is a software tool built and run by SIGNALMINDS. SIGNALMINDS uses it to read a company’s brand, competitors, customers, deals and search performance, and to write finished messaging and strategy documents for that company.
ORENIUS has no public sign-up. SIGNALMINDS signs in to it and runs it for each engagement. Clients do not log in. This policy explains what information ORENIUS handles and why. Questions go to accounts@signalminds.com.
What we handle
For an engagement, ORENIUS handles information about the client’s business:
- Website addresses, and the public text of those pages and of competitor pages.
- Files the client shares: customer lists, deal exports, call transcripts, proposals, decks, brand guides and interview notes.
- Data pulled from connected accounts, described under “Connected accounts” below.
- The results ORENIUS produces, and a record of each run, including how much the AI and data services cost.
Customer and deal files can contain names and notes about people at the client’s customers. ORENIUS reads them only to produce the analysis for that client.
This website does not use advertising or analytics trackers. It stores your light or dark mode choice in your browser. When SIGNALMINDS signs in to ORENIUS, a sign-in cookie keeps that session.
If you email us, we keep your message and use it to reply.
How we use it
We use the information to run the analysis you asked for, write the documents that come from it, keep connections working, protect the service and answer your questions.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not build profiles of people from it.
A SIGNALMINDS consultant reads the results inside ORENIUS and reviews every output before it reaches the client. That review is part of the service.
Connected accounts
ORENIUS can connect to four services. Every connection is read only. ORENIUS never writes to, changes or deletes anything in them.
- Google Analytics 4. Reads sessions, engagement rate, conversions, channels and landing pages. Access scope: analytics.readonly.
- Google Search Console. Reads search queries and pages with clicks, impressions, click-through rate and position. Access scope: webmasters.readonly.
- HubSpot. Reads companies and deals, including won and lost status and amounts, and deal notes when that access is granted.
- Salesforce. Reads accounts and opportunities. Salesforce has no read-only access level, so ORENIUS runs read queries only.
For Google, ORENIUS also asks for your account’s email address so it can show which account is connected.
Access tokens and refresh tokens are encrypted on the server before they are stored, and are never sent to your browser. When you disconnect, ORENIUS asks the provider to revoke the token and deletes its stored copy. You can also remove access at any time from your Google, HubSpot or Salesforce account settings.
Data already pulled for an analysis stays with that analysis until it is deleted. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see “Keeping and deleting”).
Google user data
ORENIUS’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In plain terms, for data from Google Analytics 4 and Search Console:
- We use it only to provide and improve the analysis features you see in ORENIUS, such as the search and website experience results.
- We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising, including interest-based advertising.
- We do not transfer it to others except to service providers who help us run these features (listed below), when the law requires it, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
- We do not use it to train generalized AI or machine learning models.
- People at SIGNALMINDS read it only inside ORENIUS to deliver your engagement, because you gave access for that purpose. They do not read it for any other reason unless you agree, it is needed for security or to follow the law, or the data is combined and anonymized for internal operations.
Who else handles it
We use these service providers to run ORENIUS. They handle information only to provide their service to us.
- Supabase. Database, sign-in and file storage.
- Vercel. Hosting.
- Anthropic. Its AI models read parts of the information, such as page text, deal notes, search queries and summaries of analytics, and write findings and copy. The numbers in our results are calculated by our own code, not by the model.
- DataForSEO. Receives search terms to return search volume and difficulty.
- Google PageSpeed Insights. Receives page addresses to measure page speed.
Fetched website text and uploaded files are treated as data to read, never as instructions.
Keeping and deleting
We keep a client’s data for as long as the engagement needs it. Connection tokens are kept until you disconnect.
You can ask us to delete your data, or any part of it, by emailing accounts@signalminds.com. We will delete it from ORENIUS.
Security
Connections to ORENIUS use HTTPS. Connection tokens are encrypted before they are stored. The database limits each record to the signed-in owner, and the keys that unlock it stay on the server.
No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a problem that affects your information, we will tell you.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you or your company, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and stop any connection at any time. Email accounts@signalminds.com and we will respond.
ORENIUS is not meant for children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use Google user data, we will ask for your agreement first.
